Wildlife Experts in Kansas Differ After a ‘Bear’ Sighting

A Shawnee Heights resident shot a picture in their driveway this past Saturday, and it quickly went viral in northeast Kansas,United States.

But, Google Images ‘verified’ that it was probably a black bear. However, experts claim that the pictures are not bears, a local TV Station 13WIBW reports.

But after examining the image, Kansas Wildlife and Parks wildlife specialist Matt Peek declared, it’s a Raccoon and injured one.The last time a black bear was sighted in Kansas, according to experts, was in 2021.
