While Trying to Save Turtle on Florida Highway,Man Dies

While attempting to help a turtle on the Florida expressway, a 77-year-old man from Vermont,United States,was killed. Florida authorities say it happened on I-95 near Sebastian in Indian River County.

According to WCAX 3 Vermont, the man was attempting to assist a turtle in across the road. A automobile slowed to avoid colliding with him, but a pickup truck behind it failed to stop in time, rear-ended the first car, and caused it to go off the road. Then, the 77-year-old was struck by the truck and died on the spot.
