For National Sausage Roll Day on June 5, the “iconic” sausage roll dish from the well-known bakery chain Greggs will be “immortalized” at Madame Tussauds in London.
Plaster molding, clay sculpting, wax casting, and hand painting were all steps in the Madame Tussauds process, and the roll was created with much details.
On a pedestal, it will be exhibited on a royal blue velvet cushion with a plaque honoring the “significant contribution it delivers to Britain’s culinary heritage.” It will temporarily coexist with figures like Stormzy, Sir David Attenborough, and William Shakespeare at the London wax museum’s Culture Capital area, which honors personalities who have influenced Britain.
