
Locals in Satun Province, Thailand were terrified when a 30-year-old man went crazy while driving his pickup truck into flooding. After summoning him for a fine and issuing a warning, the police let him go.
A video footage shows a man in his 30s driving a pickup vehicle from a side street onto Sukhanukul Road in Phiman Subdistrict, Mueang District, Satun Province, during the area’s flooding at 8:00 PM on November 24, 2015, was posted on social media. The man’s irresponsible behavior was widely criticized after this video, which further alarmed flood victims, Channel 7 News, Thailand reports.
The pickup truck driver was seen driving erratically through the floodwaters at the time of the incident, almost colliding with a power pole before moving on to the median, as a number of locals were on the roadside. The man then unlocked his car door and stepped onto the median after someone took away the vehicle’s keys. Locals weren’t sure if the object he was holding was a gun. due to the low vision and darkness.
