
The Utonagan is a beautiful, large dog with wolf-like features.But Utonagan has no “wolf” in its DNA, yet being called as a wolfdog.The muscular, and graceful, Utonagan is a relatively new dog breed.DNA from German Shepherds, Siberian Husky, and Alaskan Malamute, as well as five unidentified breeds, were used to create the Utonagan.
The name Utonagan, which means to “spirit of the wolf,” comes from an old Chinook Indian story.Friendly, intelligent,this type of dog makes excellent family companions. They get along well with children and enjoy the company of others.
The range of weight for male and female is 55 to 110 pounds or 25 to 50 kg.The average height of both male and female is between 23 and 30 inches,Lifespan 12 to 14 years.Utonagan is an extremely active and energetic dog. They require regular exercise and healthy foods rich in vitamins and minerals.
