
An ‘unusual odor’ caused a flight to be rerouted to Orlando International Airport,Florida,United States,on Wednesday, the airline said. According to flight data, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the Frontier Airlines flight departed for San Juan, Puerto Rico.
However, the jet soon reversed course and returned to MCO, reaching it at 4:40 p.m.According to a statement from an airline spokesperson, when flight attendants on Flight 1824 noticed an odd smell when the aircraft was traveling from Orlando to San Juan, the plane was forced to return to Orlando. No one on board asked for medical assistance, and the aircraft landed without incident. To be sure, the four flight attendants sought medical attention. Later this evening, it is anticipated that the flight will continue to San Juan with a replacement aircraft and crew, News 6 reports.
