
Originally from Austria, the Tyrolean Hound is a beautiful breed of scent hound.Wide ears and a strong, compact physique are characteristics of the Tyrolean Hound, a medium-sized scenting dog that can be red, black and tan, or tricolored.
Their nose is straight and well-developed, and their large, slightly curved cranium flows into it.Their dark brown eyes are a striking aspect of their face, and their nose must be black.
For hunting fox, hare, and other game, the Tyrolean Hound is an amazing hunting dog for mountain and forested areas.Tyrolean Hounds are energetic and alert.
When fully grown, the Tyrolean Hound weighs between 35 and 60 pounds and stands between 18.5 and 24 inches tall.Females typically stand between 16.5 and 19 inches tall, average lifespan 12 to 14 years.
Their relationship with their family is strong and they get along well with them. To them, they are loyal and affectionate.They also like children.They are excellent watchdogs since they often bark to alert their owner to strange activity.
