
The Slidell Police Department, Lousianaa,United States, reported that two men from the Mississippi Coast were taken into custody July 29 night after they were discovered in their car with $1,500 worth of stolen beef brisket and ribeye steaks during a traffic stop.
When police stopped Charles Walker, 66, of Biloxi, and John Garriga, 55, of Gulfport, for a brake light infraction, they observed that both men were “unusually nervous,” according to the police, Sun Herald reports.
Charges of felony theft and possession of stolen property were filed against both men. Both of them have a history of shoplifting offences, according to Slidell police.
