Trapper Grapples With an Alligator on the Middle of Florida Highway

A Florida alligator trapper and local law enforcement collaborated to catch a huge alligator in a highway median.

On social media, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office shared a video of Mike Dragich, a wildlife trapper who goes by the handle “The Blue Collar Brawler,” grappling with a gator in the median of Interstate 95/295 on Jacksonville’s Southside.

To ensure the safety of the trapper and drivers during the capture, deputies collaborated with Florida Fish & Wildlife and the Florida Highway Patrol.
