Texas Mother Given Five Year Prison Sentence for Sexual Contact with Her Son’s Thirteen-Year-Old Friend

After being found guilty of having sexual contact with her son’s 13-year-old friend, a mother from Rockwall County,Texas,United States,was given a prison sentence, according to officials. In February, Natalie Sorrells, 44, of Heath, was taken into custody and accused of four charges of child abuse. The conviction and sentencing of Sorrells on two of the offenses were verified by the Rockwall County District Clerk on Thursday.

According to the Rockwall County District Clerk, Sorrells received 30 months in prison for each of the guilty charges. Brett Hall, a judge in Rockwall County, decided that the two sentences would run consecutively, totaling five years. Additionally, she will have to pay a $10,000 fine.
