After being stalked by a man while riding her motorcycle home alone late at night in Sri Racha district, Chon Buri, a Thai woman issued a warning to the public.
In order to alert others, particularly women, and to provide clues that could help in identifying the perpetrator, the victim, Pruksa, 33, shared CCTV footage of the incident with local media outlets. She disclosed that the incident happened after she stopped working at a restaurant last night, October 26, at around 2.10 a.m, The Thaiger reports.
According to Pruksa, she left work at around two in the morning and went to drop off a coworker on her motorcycle before heading home. While traveling home, she became aware of a man on a motorcycle.
The victim claimed that although she attempted to accelerate, the male also accelerated. Then Pruksa slowed down to give him room, but he refused to stop and kept on after her.
Fearful, she rushed into her house, believing she was safe. Sadly, the man pulled up outside her house and asked her an odd question: “Are the dogs here fierce?” “No,” she said, hurrying inside.
Assuming she was safe, Pruksa went about her daily routine until the man came back to her house. His actions was recorded on CCTV. He opened the gate silently and checked the number of persons inside with a phone torch.
Pruksa said that after realizing the gate was left open, she went to properly close it. Suddenly she was in front of the man and let out a loud scream. Her boyfriend was home, luckily. He reached for a hammer and was ready to step in, but the stalker fled the area.
