A South Carolina man was arrested after a minor gave birth to his child in December, according to the Abbeville City Police Department, South Carolina, United States.
According to police, on December 18, a Special Victims Investigator was called regarding a 13-year-old Abbeville resident who had given birth at Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood. It also was stated that the newborn and the teen had positive THC tests, FOX Carolina reports.
According to officials, Torren Simmons, 28, has been identified as the baby’s father. Simmons was found to have sent the victim pornographic material and produced child sexual abuse content with her in addition to the illegal sexual behavior.
