
A judge recently bound over a father who allegedly threatened to shoot up a school because his child wasn’t getting snack time.
Before allegedly making the threats, David Scott, Jr. reportedly chastised Michigan’s Eastpointe Pleasantview Elementary teacher in October of last year, FOX 2 Detroit reports
If found guilty, Scott faces a five-year felony for possessing guns and ammunition by a restricted person. Several rounds of ammunition were discovered in his home after a search warrant was issued.
Scott also has a habitual offender-fourth offense notice due to his prior criminal record, which is an aggravating sentence consideration.
According to authorities, Scott asked a teacher on October 22 why his child wasn’t given snack time. He allegedly yelled and cursed at the teacher throughout this exchange in front of other parents, staff, and students.Scott also allegedly intimidated the instructor before threatening to come back the next day.
