
After responding to the call from Sand Creek Station on January 24, Newton Fire and EMS, Kansas, United States, posted a photo of the rescue on social media. While sledding on the closed golf course, the teenager became stuck in an exposed drainage pipe.
Andy Harder, Chief of Community Risk Reduction for the Newton Fire/EMS Division, stated that grates should be placed over the drainage pipes, which are about a foot wide, local TV station KWCH reports
According to him, his first thought was that a person could not possibly fit in it. It sounds like an incredible feat, and he was interested in how it happened because he didn’t think it was possible.
