This summer, thousands of naked bikers will once again take to the streets of London for the World Naked Bike Ride.
During the yearly event, bikers pedal across the city while wearing minimal or no clothing. This year, on June 14, participants will go out into the streets. The only time the tournament has been halted since 2004 was in 2020 because of the COVID pandemic.
According to media reports,a peaceful demonstration, the World Naked Bike Ride seeks to raise awareness of its issues by providing an entertaining spectacle. The police are provided with comprehensive route and organizational details for this non-aggressive, legal campaign, and they offer advice on any activities that might conflict.
A global protest movement, the World Naked Bike Ride has rides in more than 200 cities across 35 countries.
