Medium to large sized Ocicat cats have a robust, muscular build, almond-shaped eyes, and an athletic physique. Some even have a tail tip that is black.
The Ocicat was developed by crossing American Shorthair, Abyssinian, and Siamese cats.
The distinctive spotted coats of Ocicat cats come in a variety of striking hues, including blue, chocolate, cinnamon, fawn, lavender, and black silver.
Ocicats are 9 to 11 inches tall, weigh 6 to 15 pounds or 2 to 6 kgs and average lifespan 12 to 15 years.
These cats are active, curious, and affectionate. They form strong ties with their families and are quite vocal.
