On January 20 morning, a dog that missing following the Adamuz (located in the province of Córdoba, Andalusia, Spain) train accident was found to be in good health. Boro was taken to an emotional reunion with his owner by an Infoca forest firefighting team when they saw him.
On January 18, Ana Garcia, 26, was traveling from Malaga to Madrid with her pregnant sister and Boro when the tail of their Iryo train car jumped the rails and collided with a train coming in the opposite direction, The Olive Press reports.
Before the pet dog named Boro left the chaotic scene, Ana caught a glimpse of him as he was being helped out of the upturned car.
Ana’s appeal for help and photos of the medium-sized black dog with white eyebrows and a tuft of white fur on his chest were posted by thousands of people on social media.
On January 21, a rescue patrol run by the animal rights organization PACMA was given permission to search for Boro at the scene of the accident.
The same day, a Guardia Civil officer saw the dog near the scene of the accident, but when someone tried to catch him, he ran away.
