The world’s tallest dog, a Great Dane named Reggie, and the shortest dog, a Chihuahua Pearl from the United States, first came together in April.Pearl is only 3.59 inches (9.14 cm) tall, while Reggie is 3 feet 3 inches (1.007 meters) to the withers.
The two record holders, Dynamic Derrick (also known as “Derrick”) and Bambou, the world’s tallest donkey, live at the Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary in Huttoft, Lincolnshire, UK, and got a coveted place in Guinness World Records 2026 in October.
The tallest living water buffalo in the world is King Kong. He is 185 cm (6 ft 0.8 in) long from hoof to withers and resides at Ninlanee Farm in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
This year, Ozzy, a French and Bull mastiff mix from Bloomington, Illinois, USA, broke the Guinness World Records title for the longest tongue on a living dog with his 7.83-inch (19.89-centimeter) tongue, which he typically hangs out the side of his mouth or uses to lap up food and catch toys.
At about 2 feet 8 inches (83.8 cm) tall, Radha, the world’s shortest living water buffalo, was born on a farm in Maharashtra, India.
