Snellings Funeral Home is being sued by a Chesapeake family of Virginia,United States,who say they found their 24-year-old relative covered in maggots when they were at his viewing.
In May 2022, Torreon Williams passed away suddenly in a car accident. For the funeral, his mother, Tabitha Worrell, contributed $3,000. This includes body dressing and hygienic care.
However, court documents state that the day the family went for burial Williams, they found Williams’ face and body were covered in maggots.Williams’ family is now suing for $5 million, claiming negligence and breach of contract,13 News Now reports.
