Lurcher has a soft undercoat that increases in the winter and a short coat. They have long, straight legs.The wire-haired ears are tiny and placed high. The spherical eyes are small and black.
The usual height of a Lurcher female is between 22 and 26 inches, but males can grow up to two inches taller. When fully grown, males can weigh anything from 60 to 70 pounds, while females typically weigh 60 pounds, average lifespan 10 to 12 to 15 years.
The Lurcher dog’s attitude is often calm, friendly and loyal.They form strong bonds with their owners and are incredibly energetic dogs.
Proper training and socialization from early age is necessary because these dogs would probably chase small animals like cats or rodents.
