
The Kintamani dog originated in Bali’s Kintamani Highlands.According to genetic analysis, Australian dingoes and Bali street dogs are related to kintamini.
Male Kintamani dogs are between 19 and 22 inches or 49 and 57 cm tall, while females are between 17 and 20 inches or 44 and 52 cm tall. They weigh between 29 and 40 pounds or 13 to 18 kg on average, with males being the larger of the two. Their average lifespan 12 to 14 years.
Kintamani has a double-layered coat. The outer layer is medium in length, straight, and harsh, while the undercoat is shorter and has denser, softer hair in the neck and withers.The four main colors of these dogs are brindle, fawn, black, and white.
Kintamani dogs are loyal to their humans and make ideal family dogs as well as alert watch dogs. They are energetic and playful. They are friendly with children,other dogs and other animals.Early socializing is important for temperament.
