

The Indian Ministry of Home Affairs launched the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C) to address cybercrime in India in a comprehensive and coordinated way.
I4C aims to address every aspect of cybercrime for the benefit of the public, including enhancing cooperation between stakeholder groups and law enforcement agencies, advancing India’s overall capacity to combat cybercrime, and raising citizen satisfaction levels.
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) oversees the “Cyber Swachhta Kendra” (Botnet Cleaning and Malware Analysis Centre), which is a part of the Government of India’s Digital India initiative. Its goal is to identify botnet infections in India and to alert, enable, and secure end users’ systems to stop additional infections.
The Ministry of Home Affairs also launched the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (NCRP) www.cybercrime.gov.in, which allows round-the-clock reporting of all forms of cybercrime, with a particular emphasis on cybercrime against women and children.
The purpose of the Citizen Financial Cyber Fraud Reporting and Management System is to combat financial cybercrimes and stop cybercriminals from stealing money in almost real time. The “1930” national toll-free helpline has been put into service to help citizens with submitting online cyber complaints.
The CyberDost handle has been established on multiple social media platforms by I4C, MHA in an effort to raise public awareness of cyber issues.The objective of the Android app CyberDost is to educate and guide users on the best practices for internet safety and cybersecurity.
