

In collaboration with the Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre (I4C), IndiaAI, an Independent Business Division (IBD) of the Digital India Corporation (DIC) of the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY), has launched the IndiaAI CyberGuard AI Hackathon.
In order to improve cybersecurity and combat the growing threat of cybercrime and fraud, this creation of an NLP model that will accurately help citizens in reporting cybercrimes on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP) by analyzing the citizen’s uploaded media files and description in real time.
According to Press Information Bureau (PIB),the hackathon’s aim is to create strong AI-driven solutions that can manage and mitigate approximately 6,000 cases that the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP) receives every day.
Two hundred and sixty three submissions from reputed academic institutions, startups, research organizations, and civil society organizations were received in total.To counter the increasing sophistication of cybercrime, participants will get the chance to create and apply advanced AI models that can greatly improve cybersecurity measures’ efficacy.
