
In search of food, a big wild elephant from Khao Yai National Park, Thailand barged into a tiny store in Pak Chong district on Monday, shocking the owners and ruining the shelves.
According to Bangkok Post,The shop owner was serving a customer at around 3 p.m. when the tusker, Plai Biang Lek, emerged. The backbone of the animal nearly touched the roof of the store. They ran outside in a panic and called the park.
The shop owner and park rangers attempted to lure the elephant to leave. Completely unaffected, Plai Biang Lek kept using his trunk to look the shelves in search of food. After being persuaded for ten minutes, he finally walked away and returned to the jungle. There were no reported injuries.
