Last week, a truck in Mission had a load of blueberries spilled off it, and the driver was given a ticket. According to Mission RCMP, a white Ford pickup truck carrying boxes of freshly picked blueberries halted at the intersection of Lougheed Highway and Wren Street on June 29 during the afternoon rush hour, resulting in a “juicy incident,” Vancouver Sun reports.
Traffic jammed the road as the truck pulled away, with some of the crates falling out of the back and smashing into the road, spilling thousands of berries. A ticket was issued for an unsecured load to the truck’s driver, a farmer shipping their goods.
