
Originating in southern Greece, Hellenic Hounds also known as the Hellenikos Ichnilatis, are medium-sized dogs with a short, smooth, black and brown coat that is quite dense. They also may have a white mark on their chest. The ears are medium in length and dangle to the side of the head.
Hellenic Hounds are typically between 18.5 and 21.5 inches tall, weigh between 37 and 44 pounds, and average lifespan 12 to 14 years.
