A passenger who got out of the car without shutting the door behind him has come under fire on the internet, with others supporting up for drivers of private vehicles.
The TikTok/Instagram user @iiimpermanence shared a video of the incident along with the message, “Dear passenger, private hire drivers are not your personal chauffeurs.
Filmed at a drop-off location at Marina Bay Financial Centre, Singapore,the 19-second footage features a red automobile coming to a stop at the building’s door, The NewPaper reports.
In the comments, some people joked that “time is money” while others expressed outrage at the passenger’s behavior.
Others called the passenger’s actions “entitled” and suggested that the company should issue a warning letter to the passenger.More respect for private-hire drivers was also urged by a number of commentators.
