For Adding Onions on His Burger,Man Sues Whataburger for At Least $250K

A man from Houston,Texas,United States, is suing Texas based fast food restaurant chain,Whataburger for at least $250,000. He claims that the restaurant chain included onions to his burger even though he requested that they not be included in his order. Demery Ardell Wilson claims that the presence of onions on his burger caused him to have a “allergic reaction”.

According to Local 12 WKRC-TV , Cincinnati, “he had to seek the care of medical professionals” due to Wilson’s “serious personal injuries,” according to court papers.”Whataburger wanted “str ict proof” of Wilson’s claims and refuted them in a different court filing.

According to the court document, the incident happened on July 24, 2024, at an unidentified Whataburger outlet.
