A 15-year-old was arrested by the Gulfport Police Department, Mississippi,United States,and charged with one count of shooting at a car and one count of possessing a weapon on school property.The teenager attends the Harrison County School District.
Officers responded to a report of a person with a pistol at the intersection of George Street and Turnberry Avenue on August 18. According to the investigation, the 15-year-old got into a verbal altercation with other students on the school bus, WXXV25 reports.
The 15-year-old said to have possessed a gun during the incident. Before running away, he brandished the gun after he got off the bus and fired it multiple times toward the bus.
After that, he was sent to the Harrison County Adult Detention Centre, where he is being held pending payment of a $1,000,000 bond.
