A pet zebra that had escaped from its adoptive family in Tennessee,United States,was successfully retrieved on Sunday after more than a week of escape.With the help of search teams, volunteer drone operators, and even a private chopper team sent in from Texas, Ed the zebra was found in Christiana.
According to local media reports,on May 30, Ed made his getaway a few hours after moving into his new house in Middle Tennessee. Trail cameras captured the animal graze freely and playing in a stream after he hopped a fence and started traveling along I-24 (Interstate Highway),past suburban houses, and into rural backyards, all while avoiding capture.
Ed was sighted on Sunday morning by a Texas-based private helicopter crew that his owners had hired.After that, Ed was airlifted to his family in a big sack.
