
When a wolf and a domestic dog mate, the resulting offspring is known to as a “wolf-dog hybrid.”Usually a cross between a wolf and a German shepherd, Siberian husky, or Alaskan malamute, the Wolfdog can also be mixed with other breeds.
They often have strong, robust body and their color range greys, blacks, and browns.There are three types of wolf-dogs: low-content, they are basically dogs not wolf, mid-content, equal percentages of dog and wolf; and high-content basically wolf than dog.
Low content wolfdogs are those with less than 50% of wolf ancestry ( 20 to 49 %), high content dogs have more than 75% wolf ancestry, and equal proportions in mid content.
High Content Wolfdogs with a high content temperament typically resemble wolves in both personality and appearance.Mid-content wolfdogs are typically more social.Adopting a pet with low content is the best option and they are more likely to get along with children,small dogs,cats.
