A cross between a Chihuahua and a Dachshund, the Chiweenie is a small breed, sometimes with long, floppy Dachshund ears.
Despite their high levels of energy, Chiweenies need to be socialized and trained.These dogs are loyal, and excellent family companions.
They are 6 to 10 inches tall, weigh 5 to 12 pounds or 2.3 to kgs and have a lifespan of 12 to 15 years.Due to their tendency to become aggressive when ignored chiweenies aren’t usually the ideal choice for children but normally Chiweenies can get along with other pets.
There are several coat types that Chiweenies can have, such as long, short, or a combination of the two. A variation of colors can be found on their coats, including as tan, brown,cream, black,and brindle.
