In 2003, a new hybrid breed of cat was developed in the United States by Carol Drymon named Cheetoh. This attractive cat, which is crossed between Bengal and the Ocicat, is well-known for its energetic, active personality.
As the name indicates, Cheetoh resembles small Cheetahs. Most have tan coats with black markings on them. There are, however, certain differences, such as silver and black. Cheetohs are a great option for those with allergies because they don’t shed a lot.
Cheetohs are 8 to 15 inches tall, weigh 15 to 23 pounds or 6 to 10 kg, and often live 12 to 15 years. For all cats, but especially for Cheetohs, proper nutrition is necessary.
According to experts, due to their Bengal and Ocicat ancestry, Cheetoh cats may be more susceptible to specific health issues like heart issues, knee dislocation and some forms of malignancy. They need regular veterinary checkups and balanced diet, moderate exercise.
