For your chameleon to thrive, you must create a suitable habitat. They need a roomy enclosure with lots of vertical room to climb. In order to replicate their native habitat and offer hiding places, the enclosure should be furnished with branches, vines, and live plants.
The ideal temperature range for their cage during the day is between 20 and 35 °C, while the ideal nighttime temperature is between 20–22 °C.
Chameleons eat a variety of insects. Therefore, try to give your pet as many different kinds of insects like crickets,stick bugs,locusts mantids,grasshoppers.Since calcium is another essential component for their diet, make sure to add vitamin and calcium supplements to their food to ensure they are getting all the nutrients they need.
To stay hydrated, chameleons will require frequent watering; but, unlike other pets, they will lick water off of leaves and branches because they cannot see it. You should therefore use clean water to sprinkle your chameleon’s enclosure every day.
