
In southern Brazil, a dog breed known as the Campeiro Bulldog was developed. It is closely related to the Serrano Bulldog and is said to be a descendent of the Old English Bulldog brought to Brazil by Europeans.
The Campeiro Bulldog is a medium-sized, muscular dog. It has small, dangling ears that are positioned high on the head, a short muzzle, and a large head. Ideally, the tail is short.Brown, brindle, and fawn coat colors with white markings.
Male Campeiro Bulldogs weigh 36 to 42 kg (79 to 93 pounds), while females weigh 31 to 37 kg (68 to 82 pounds). Male and female heights are 50 to 56 cm and 19 to 21 inches (48 to 54 cm), respectively, and their average lifespan is 10 to 12 years.
This dog breed is exceptionally gentle among kids and other pets, making it a great companion and family dog.
