
Overwhelmed by stress and debt from online gambling, a 36-year-old man made his last video before his death, which was an apology and birthday message for his girlfriend.
A deceased person’s body was found inside a private vehicle in the parking area of a home in Moo 6, Sattahip Subdistrict, Sattahip District, Thailand, on January 9, 2026, Sattahip police said. They conducted an investigation with Sawang Rojanathammasathan Sattahip Foundation rescue personnel, Channel 7 News, Thailand reports.
According to the report, the 36-year-old Wasitphon was discovered dead in the rear seat of the white vehicle. There were no indications of conflict or misplaced items. The trunk included a charcoal brazier. There were his friends, family, and girlfriend, all of whom were clearly upset.
His 42-year-old girlfriend said that her boyfriend had parked in front of the house as usual before to the incident, but she became suspicious when he remained in the car. When she went to check on him after calling him and he didn’t pick up, she discovered that he was dead. Due to accumulated stress and debt from online gaming, the deceased was facing serious financial difficulties.
Examining the deceased’s cell phone, it was found that before the tragedy, he had recorded a video in which he wished his girlfriend a happy birthday, apologized, and expressed gratitude for everything they had shared. He shared his family this video, which ended up being his final one.
