
According to animal rescue group ACCT Philly, a dog was saved on Sunday from the SEPTA metro station at 63rd and Market, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, after becoming entangled on top of a support pillar.
Before the dog became stuck on the elevated pillar, witnesses said that it was running on SEPTA tracks, NBC 10 Philadelphia reports.
With the assistance of SEPTA personnel, the animal rescue team arrived at the site and saved the animal companion, according to the group.
The dog is safe in the care of ACCT Philly and was not injured.
