
A cross between a German Shepherd and a Malamute, the American Alsatian is also known as the North American Shepalute.The height of these dogs is between 25 and 32 inches. They typically live between 9 and 13 years and weigh about 100 pounds,lifespan 12 to 15 Years.
Their bodies are long, their bones are thick, and they have a large head with teeth and a large, dark muzzle.They have silver sable, cream, tri sable, black silver sable, and golden sable coat colors.
American Alsatian dogs’ thick double coats allow them to cope with extreme cold weather.But double coats makes them very difficult to cope with hot weather.So in summer, airconditioner or coller is must for them and provide enough fresh water for them.For this breed, proteins and fats are the most important nutrients.
American Alsatian requires a minimum of one hour of walking and a lot of physical activity.American Alsatians are generally quite gentle and get along well with kids and other pets.
