
In the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, the Aïdi breed, which is known for its loyal and protective nature.Another common name for the Aidi breed is the Atlas Mountain Dog.
As they grow, Aidis should be between 50 and 60 pounds or 25 to 37 kgs and 20 to 25 inches tall. They are medium- to large-sized dogs,lifespan 10 to 12 years.
According to experts,regular brushing is necessary to remove loose hair and avoid matting in the Aidi’s thick, semi-long coat.For the Aidi to be healthy,they must eat a balanced diet.
As the Aidi breed naturally tends to be protective of their family and territory and suspicious of strangers, so proper socialization is essential.
