
After being made to perform bear crawls on the track in the sweltering heat, several girls on the majorette team at Warren Central High School in Indianapolis,United States, sustained severe blisters and burns.
When a father picked up his 14-year-old daughter, Trinity, from Warren Central High School last week, he looked down to see her hands blistered and scorched, and he said he couldn’t bear his eyes. During majorette practice, she told him, she had to perform bear crawls over the blazing hot track. Because of her grades, she claimed, she was instructed to do more,local TV station 13NewsNow reports.
For treatment of what the physicians said were second-degree burns on the girl’s hands, Trinity was brought to Riley Hospital for Children. According to the girl’s father, she is also receiving treatment for heat exhaustion.
