After bathing his girlfriend, Angela Ogah, with what is believed to be acid, a young man named Timothy Gilbert is currently at large.
According to media reports, the incident took place at Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area, Amufi, Edo State, Nigeria.
John Izegaegbe, Angela Ogah’s lawyer, said on November 24 that the woman had been admitted to a private hospital where she is presently fighting for her life.
He said that a petition for immediate action had been sent to Monday Agbonika, the state commissioner of police. When reporters visited her, the victim Angela Ogah was hardly able to speak.
John Izegaegbe, however, pleaded with the respective authorities to arrest the fleeing culprit immediately.
