After purchasing an instant game ticket that another customer had left behind, the Blazing Suits $1 million top prize was won by the 33-year-old winner, who choose to remain anonymous.
Instead of receiving annuity payments, the winner chose to get a lump sum payment of around $693,000, Michigan local TV station Local12 reports.
He claims that he bought the Blazing Suits ticket that was left on the counter because someone else had chosen not to buy it.
When he scratched out the ticket and saw it was a $1 million winner, he was shocked. He never would have imagined receiving such a large lottery payout.
